Options
Dimension
This area in the dialog defines the height and length of the wall.
Reference
Defines the wall by Height or Length.
The Height icons become available when you set Reference to Height.
Height Outside
Defines the perpendicular height of the wall from the outside of the reference wall.
Height Inside
Defines the perpendicular height of the wall from the inside of the reference wall.
Value
Defines a dimensional value for the wall.
Limit1 and Limit2
These values in the Graphics window represent the offset values. Change these values by dragging the arrows to new positions.
First Limit and Second Limit
Use these options to pick planes and input offset values for one or both limits.
Type
Defines the type of plane (the default is Undefined Reference).
Select Up To Plane to define a limit element.
The Plane option is available when you select Up to Plane. This field displays the plane selected as the limit.
Offset 1 and 2
Defines the offset value for Limit 1 and Limit 2, respectively.
Clearance
Activate Clearance to create the wall a defined distance from an edge. Activate With Bend to enter a bend radius value in the text box (to the left of Clearance). Deactivate With Bend to create the wall in 3D space.
Angle
Use this option to specify the angle between the new wall and the reference wall. Enter a value or click the arrows to increase or decrease the value. The default is 90 degrees.
Reverse Position
Select this option to reverse the position of the wall.
Invert Material Side
Select this option (or click the arrow in the Graphics window) to reverse the side in which the material is created.
With Bend
Activate this option to create a bend automatically between the new wall and the reference wall. The radius value of the bend is equal to the Clearance value.
Tips
- You can quickly move or copy a Wall on Edge feature in the Graphics window. To move the features, pick the wall in the Graphics window, and click then drag the wall to the new destination edge. To copy the features, press and hold CTRL, pick the wall in the Graphics window, and click then drag the wall to the new destination edge.
